Think you don’t stand much possibility of getting your ex girlfriend back without begging or saying sorry for things you did not even do? If so, you have fallen into the same trap I had done after my girlfriend walked out. Do not feel bad; most guys react the same way during this situation. Nine chances out of ten, you’re doing the exact contrast of what you should be and it is only turning your ex happy she left.

Here’s what you should be doing instead:

Remain calm!

You had a fight, you screamed to one another, she told you she never wants to see your face back and walked out. If you start to really feel you have lost her, panic strikes. You end up calling her daily, sending one email after another, and basically become a stalker before you know it.

No woman in her proper mind is going to go back to someone who’s hunting her. Take a few days to collect your mind and then try a few times to communicate with her. If she doesn’t respond, advance to the next step, which is…

Talk to her friends! Not what you wanted to hear, I guess. Sure, trying to impress her friends was tough enough when you were going out, but since she’s spent hours revealing them what a jerk you are, how are you supposed to approach them?

Sadly, though, when it comes to ways to get your girlfriend back, these are particularly the people you have to be talking to because they have the most power to swing your ex. If you can explain your side of the story and at least acquire slight sympathy, the next time she mentions you, they’re at least going to put in a good word for you.

Remain attractive!

Let’s face the facts, most people – both men and women – tend to let ourselves go when we’re feeling unhappy. Maybe you wear the same shirt for 3 days in a row or delay getting a hair cut for a little too long. This is precisely what you shouldn’t be doing. I know it is hard, but you no matter how bad you feel, take care of yourself. Eat right, get enough sleep, and don’t hold back on personal hygiene. Not only will you feel better, your ex girlfriend will see you as a person worth being with.

Be open!

After you get a chance to talk to her, you have to know what to say. Part of that means explaining what you were thinking when you had the fight that almost ended the relationship.

This is a hard one, I understand. If I had my choice, nobody would ever find out I ever had a single problem in my life. The fact is, though, you’ll be better off confessing that you were stressed out from work, family problems, or whatever than trying to cover anything up.

To be able to get ex back doesn’t have to be hard once you keep your self respect and tackle the problem head on. Keep calm and be honest about what caused the split and you’ll be well on your way to reconciling with your lady.
