“If you have children, you may be tempted to transfer all of your dreams on to them now. If you do, you
could possibly just too title your child ‘I’m a failure,’ because your previously failure lies behind the stress you
are placing on your child.” – M. Craig Barnes
“Until we see in ourselves the uniqueness of God’s touch, we will usually would like to be another person and
will dwell below the illusion that being another person would be much better.” – Ravi Zacharias
“Each day the efficient father stamps into the lives of his children terms, attitudes, routines, and responses
which 1 day will become automated. It would be scary if a father didn’t recognize this truth. For
educate he’ll – no matter if he’s conscious of it or not. Ironically, instructing can be completed either via design or
neglect…so the inquiries confront us: do we educate to assemble or educate to cripple?”
– Gordon MacDonald

3 separate ceremonies…
one. purification in the mom for 40 days after beginning of a child (Leviticus 12:2-6)

“Those terms say as substantially for your father as they say in the maturing youthful boy who grew up in
the nativity loved ones. Joseph didn’t dwell to discover Jesus in his full-orbed ministry. But in that unusual
mystery in the God-man, Jesus Christ, we see traits which arrived as substantially from his earthly father
as they arrived from his Heavenly Father. Jesus’ perspective towards his mom (certainly, for all women),
his potential to mingle with all sorts of men and women, and his capable fingers which could touch, heal or
assemble – all say something about his father. I defer to Joseph as an efficient father. He understood the
genuine essence of fatherhood: to accept the mandate of Heaven and forcefully develop and sustain a
loved ones local weather through which God’s Spirit could do His sovereign work.” – Gordon MacDonald
Being a father can be a lot like pouring concrete.
Phase one: clearing the ground & building the forms
Phase two: pouring & leveling the cement
Phase 3: letting it cure
You can shape the concrete at each stage but the longer the project goes the more difficult to make the
adjustments.
